Grounded is a survival game that can be played either in first-person or a third-person. In the game, the protagonist is shrunk to the size of an ant and must strive to survive in a backyard. In the game, the player character (Max, Willow, Pete or Hoops) needs to consume an adequate amount of food and water, or they will lose health due to starvation or dehydration respectively.[2] The backyard is filled with various bugs and insects, such as spiders, bees, dust mites, and ladybugs. The specific microfauna featured in the game suggests the setting to be somewhere in North America as the majority of species featured may be readily found there, although a few (such as the Orchid Mantis) are not native but could reasonably be considered invasive. Different insects serve different purposes in the game. For instance, spiders are one of the game’s apex predators that will hunt down the players, ladybugs can lead players to food sources, and aphids can be cooked and consumed for food. Players can also cut down grass to collect dewdrops.[3] The game has an accessibility option for players who have arachnophobia, which allows players to decide how scary spiders are going to be in the game.

BigT if you peep a bug it'll tell you their weakness and also their weak points so you know where to aim for crits. Also please for the love of things make a shield !!!

Yo BigT the best parts of the update (and only parts worth worrying about imo) is that you now have 3 hotbars, switch between them with your scroll wheel. The other thing is the ability to craft with items from your storage, so you don't have to go looking for which basket has the item you need

Just walk around the sandbox and go into the black anthill by the trash heap. You can also build up on the side of the sandbox to avoid having to climb onto the table each time.

A few tips to help you out.
Make sure you “peep” insects. They tell you the weakness of each insect.
You can go fist person. I find this easier for fighting.
Craft a weevil shield. Game changer for me. You take a lot less damage.
You should for sure do the haze lab first. Black ant lab is hard.
Big T, take an episode to get organized with inventory and build a base too. You did the same in Minecraft. It would help your efficiency!!

Welcome back from vacation BigT
Couple things you should look into maybe doing off stream to help situate you for the game a bit better.
-Drying rack. Dries out food so it never spoils, although doesn't give much for hunger so you'd need to carry more, which leads into the next point
-Milk Molars. These can be collected all around the map to increase stuff like resource stack sizes, food/ hunger drain reduction and other stuff. There's plenty of "All Milk Molars/ Mega Milk Molars" guides on YouTube, I recommend Milton's videos
-Ziplines. In the black ant lab you'll come across a miniboss that I won't spoil, but if you beat it you'll get a keycard, which can be used to ASCENT Ziplines, so instead of just going down them you can now go up them. Placing Ziplines all over the map can literally get you from the Koi Fish Pont to the Upper garden in less than a minute, absolutely worth it.
-Hotbars. In the new grounded update they actually added 2 more hotbars for convenience. You don't really have to use them, but say for example you run into a Stinkbug and don't have time to put your gasmask on, you can use your scroll wheel and just click the button the Gas Mask is added to, mine bar 2 is usually tools and bar 3 is other armour I need quick access to.
-Animation Cancelling. This is such a lifesaver in sticky situations, when you use a bandage or any other healing item you can cancel the animation with right click and still get the full benefit of the item.
Last but definitely no least, TRAIL MARKERS! These things are a fuckin godsend if you're getting lost and unsure where bugs/food is usually. For example the Red And Hill you couldn't find again. Plop a trail marker down and name it Red Ant hill, it'll stay on your screen and guide you to it's location. Hope some of these tips help!

When you peep an insect it will show what they are weak to and their weak spots
If you harvest spider egg sack they have different parts like ladybug stink bug bombardier beetle parts and others. kind of like rng roulette

you should get the mosquito needle sword, it has life steal on it and heals after every hit. Can kill wolf spiders with it too. My favourite tier 2 weapon, pair it with a weevil shield
